FONTANA, Calif. (KABC) -- A fire broke out at an equipment facility with trucks, tractors and trailers in Fontana Saturday night, sending up heavy smoke in the area.
The smoke was possibly impacting drivers on the 10 Freeway near Cherry Avenue, San Bernardino County firefighters said.
The blaze broke out in the 14800 block of Washington Drive at about 7:30 p.m. Firefighters say they heard explosions, which may have been gasoline tanks.
Officials say the strong Santa Ana winds kept the fire burning, but they were able to contain the blaze in 20 minutes.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. No injuries were reported.
