Driver, small dog rescued after semi-truck crashes into pole on 210 Freeway in Glendora

GLENDORA, Calif. (KABC) -- A driver and a small dog were rescued early Friday morning after a semi-truck hit a freeway sign pole in Glendora.

It happened along the westbound lanes of the 210 Freeway, just before Grand Avenue.

When crews arrived, they found both the driver and the dog trapped inside. The driver was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.

The dog did not appear to have suffered any injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
