HESPERIA, Calif. (KABC) -- A movie prop helicopter that was being towed by a semi struck a freeway overpass near Hesperia on Friday.

The incident was reported on Interstate 15 just before 7 a.m. The big hollow chopper hit the bridge and then at least two vehicles. It landed upright partially on the shoulder, with its broken overhead rotors slumped onto the asphalt.

The California Highway Patrol says the overpass was not damaged.

Two lanes were closed while the roadway was cleared. All lanes have since reopened.

No injuries were reported.
