HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- An argument between two men spilled out onto a historic street in the heart of Hollywood, where one man opened fire into a crowd and injured another early Sunday morning.
Los Angeles police responded shortly before 2 a.m. to Hollywood Boulevard and Las Palmas Avenue, where a shooting stemmed from a fight between two groups, authorities said.
The fight spilled into the street, where a suspect produced a handgun and shot into a group of people, striking one man.
The victim, described only as a man in his 20s, was shot five times in his abdomen, police said. He was transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
No arrests were made and no suspect description was immediately released.
