HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- Amid several brush fires burning in Southern California, a new blaze broke out in Huntington Beach Thursday.
Huntington Beach Fire Department officials said firefighters responded to a vegetation fire near Beach Boulevard and Adams Avenue just before 10 a.m. They made quick work of the brush fire, declaring a knockdown at about 12:20 p.m.
Officials said the blaze threatened structures, and some homeless people were evacuated.
