President-elect Donald Trump has nominated Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions as his attorney general.

Sessions is currently serving his fourth term as a Senator, and he has previously served as Alabama's attorney general, according to ABC News.

Sessions must be confirmed by the Senate to become Trump's attorney general.
