VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis bailed out of the Van Nuys jail Saturday morning after allegedly getting into a fight at his old production office.

The 41-year-old was arrested on a misdemeanor assault charge at his former office Friday night, located on the 10900 block of Wilshire Boulevard.

Los Angeles police say Francis entered the building to retrieve and take photographs of personal property, despite a restraining order barring him from coming within 100 yards of the building.

That's when, police say, he got into "a shoving and pushing incident" with an employee.

He posted $20,000 bail Saturday morning, according to the Sheriff's Department Inmate Information Center. He is due in court on the misdemeanor assault charge on June 11.
