Man dies after falling from balcony in Koreatown

KOREATOWN, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A man died after falling from a seventh floor balcony in Koreatown early Sunday morning.

According to police, the incident happened at the Gardens at Wilshire Luxury Apartments, located in the 600 block of south Hobart around 2:30 a.m.

Police said they received a call from a driver who had run over the body.

The 25-year-old victim had apparently slipped off the balcony. The driver is not considered a suspect.

Investigators are calling his death an accident.
