Fire damages La Puente restaurant, no injuries reported

LA PUENTE, Calif. (KABC) -- Firefighters spent at least two hours trying to contain a blaze that damaged a restaurant in La Puente Sunday night.

About 150 Los Angeles County firefighters responded to the three-alarm fire at El Jarrito restaurant near Valley Boulevard and Azusa Avenue around 8:45 p.m.

Fire officials say other units in the one-story strip mall also caught fire.

No injuries were reported.
