LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Terminal 7 at Los Angeles International Airport was partially evacuated Thursday after a man told officials that he had a bomb in his bag.
Authorities say the male suspect approached the ticketing counter and said he had a bomb at about 7:40 a.m. Airport police responded and took the man into custody.
Investigators evaluated the bag and determined there was nothing harmful found inside just before 9 a.m.
The suspect's name was not released. Police say he was taken to UCLA Harbor General Hospital for a 72-hour evaluation.
