En su intervención durante la sesión especial del Congreso mexicano Reginaldo Sandoval Flores, diputado del Partido del Trabajo -uno de los socios del oficialista Morena- destaca que Sheinbaum "no es cualquier mujer" en llegar a la presidencia, además es "una mujer de izquierda, hecha en la izquierda, formada en la izquierda, con principios de izquierda".

De hecho, Sheinbaum tiene un pasado más dogmático que el de López Obrador y el mandatario colombiano Gustavo Petro fue quien lo enfatizó al llegar a la Ciudad de México.

Según dijo en un encuentro con la prensa, fue "colaboradora" de la guerrilla colombiana M-19. "Muchos mexicanos vinieron a ayudarnos y entre esos Claudia", afirmó. "Para los que no les gusta esa historia, el M-19 ha dado dos presidentes", dijo refiriéndose a él también.

El equipo de Sheinbaum no contestó de manera inmediata esos comentarios.
