Witness captures video of police using non-lethal force to arrest woman
Long Beach police used non-lethal force to arrest a woman who is suspected of threatening a child with a knife at a dog park Sunday afternoon.

LONG BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- Long Beach police used non-lethal force to arrest a woman who is suspected of threatening a child with a knife at a dog park Sunday afternoon.



Authorities received calls of the woman threatening the child around 1:15 p.m. in the 5200 block of E. 7th Street. When officers found the woman, she was not cooperating with commands.



Officers eventually used rubber bullets and a Taser to take her into custody. Authorities identified her as Sabrina Ristichs, 36, who is a transient. Her arrest was captured on cellphone video by a patron at the dog park.



She was booked into Long Beach Jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, making terrorizing threats, possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics paraphernalia. She is being held at the Long Beach jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
