LA has most road-rage related incidents in US, study finds
LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A new study ranked Los Angeles at the top of the list for road-rage incidents in the United States.
The Auto Insurance Center analyzed more than 65,000 posts on Instagram using #RoadRage.

The study said L.A. had by far the most posts.
Several of the incidents have been captured on camera in the Southland.

From take downs on freeways to people striking cars with heavy objects, the incidents can be very dangerous.
More than 1,500 people have been killed or injured in road-rage incidents in the U.S. over the last five years, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Not surprisingly, the recent survey found the most road-rage incidents occurred on weeknights between 5 and 6 p.m.

To avoid finding yourself becoming enraged on the road, anger management specialists recommend taking 30 seconds to reflect before leaving work.
"The way you control the anger is to have thoughts and engage the thinking part of the brain. Questions are essential. What am I feeling? Am I angry? How angry am I? How do I want to handle the situation so everyone stays safe," Dr. Michael Levittan, an anger management special stated.
The study found that the least amount of road-rage incidents occurred on Sundays.
