PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (KABC) -- Riverside County sheriff's deputies are investigating a deadly shooting at the Morongo Indian Reservation.
Officials said one person was killed and two others were wounded on the tribal lands near Palm Springs.
Officials said the shooting happened around 11 p.m. Wednesday and confirmed the incident was not near the popular casino.
Sheriff's officials said there were no outstanding suspects and there was no threat to public safety.
Both the Riverside County Sheriff's Department and tribal police are involved with the case.
An investigation into the shooting remained ongoing.
