LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Time magazine published its ranking of most dangerous counties in the U.S., and several Southern California counties made the list.
How did Time Magazine come up with the list?
According to the explanation posted on Time.com, they tallied up events that caused "death, property damage, injuries or crop damage" in each county.
They used that information to create a "disaster index," based on the average of each counties events plus the events of its neighboring counties.
