BUENA PARK, Calif. (KABC) -- The Orange County Health Care Agency temporarily closed Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant at Knott's Berry Farm Thursday because of a cockroach infestation.
The restaurant, which is located in the 8000 block of Beach Boulevard in Buena Park, has been open since 1934.
"The issue was contained to utility areas and had no impact on food preparation or guest dining areas," Knott's Berry Farm said in a statement.
Over 20 million guests have eaten chicken dinners in the famous restaurant, according to the theme park's website.
The restaurant was reopened at 9:30 p.m. Thursday. No further details were immediately available.
