GLENDORA, Calif. (KABC) -- A flash flood warning for the Colby burn area in eastern Los Angeles County was lifted early Monday morning.
The National Weather Service issued the warning Sunday after moderate to heavy rain fell in the Glendora and Azusa area, where the Colby Fire burned nearly 2,000 acres in January, leaving little vegetation to hold water back.
Glendora police urged residents to avoid travel and shelter in place.
