BOYLE HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- All lanes of the westbound 60 Freeway in Boyle Heights were temporarily shut down Friday after a multi-car crash that left one person dead and five others injured.
The crash happened shortly before 5 p.m. and one person had to be extracted from the wreckage of a vehicle.
Authorities reopened two lanes of the freeway at Lorena Street by 6:40 p.m. All other lanes were closed for a few hours.
It is unclear what caused the crash.
