BORREGO SPRINGS, Calif. (KABC) -- A 3.7-magnitude earthquake hit near Borrego Springs in San Diego County early Sunday morning. A minute later, another small quake rattled the area.
The larger earthquake hit at about 5:23 a.m. and had a 3.7-preliminary magnitude. The epicenter was 6 miles northeast of Borrego Springs and about 26 miles south of Palm Desert.
A smaller 3.2-magnitude earthquake struck about a minute later.
There were no immediate reports of damages or injuries.
Eyewitness News viewers reported feeling the shaking in Escondido.
