ABC7's David Ono receives Distinguished Journalist Award

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- ABC7's very own David Ono was honored with the Distinguished Journalist Award in downtown Los Angeles on Thursday.

Ono was recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists during the 40th annual Distinguished Journalists Awards banquet at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel.

ABC7 General Manager Cheryl Fair introduced Ono during the ceremony.

Ono was one of five local journalists honored at the event.
