EAST HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- An arrest has been made in connection to the murder of 47-year-old Aniya Knee Parker, a transgender woman who was fatally shot in East Hollywood early October.

The suspect's name has not been released because the suspect is a juvenile, LAPD said. Detectives are still looking for two additional suspects.

Parker was fatally shot on Oct. 2 in the 600 block of North Kenmore Avenue at about 2:30 a.m. The confrontation was caught on surveillance video.

In the video, Parker is seen turning around after 2-4 suspects say something, then surround her underneath a tree. One suddenly throws a punch and Parker runs off. That's when one suspect fires a single shot, hitting her in the head.

She crosses the street where she sits on the curb, before she suddenly collapses in the street. Parker later died at a local hospital.

No further details were released on the suspects.

If you have any information about this incident, you're urged to contact the Los Angeles Police Department at (877) LAPD-24-7.
