At least 5 injured when car crashes into Oxnard apartment building

OXNARD, Calif. (KABC) -- At least five people were injured after a car slammed into an apartment building in Oxnard, authorities said.

The collision happened in the 1700 block of Gisler Avenue around 4:30 p.m.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Ventura County Fire Department officials said three patients were in critical condition, one was moderate and one had minor injuries. They ranged in age from 2 years old to 24.
