SOUTH EL MONTE, Calif. (KABC) -- A man is dead following a shooting that resulted in a two-vehicle crash in South El Monte Tuesday afternoon, Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies said.
Detectives responded to Rosemead Boulevard and Garvey Avenue around 4:36 p.m. and found a male gunshot victim.
The man was transported to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, where he was shortly pronounced dead. A female was uninjured during the incident.
A Hispanic man is under investigation in connection to the case. No further information has been released.
