Investigation underway after man found shot to death inside San Bernardino home

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KABC) -- Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding a man who was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds inside a San Bernardino home.



Around 9:44 p.m. Wednesday, San Bernardino police received a call for medical aid in the 1800 block of W. Darby Street. The request involved a person with an unspecified injury.



When authorities arrived at the home, they found the victim in the living room. He was hunched over and police said he appeared to have been shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.



The victim was later identified as 69-year-old John Henry Griffin.



The investigation was ongoing.
