Pasadena shooting injures 2 at Washington Park

PASADENA, Calif. (KABC) -- An investigation is underway after two men were shot at Washington Park in Pasadena on Wednesday.

The incident happened in the 700 block of E. Washington Boulevard at about 6 p.m.

Both victims were rushed to an area hospital in critical condition and were said to be undergoing surgery. Their exact conditions remain unknown.

Descriptions of the suspects were not immediately available.

Washington Park remains closed to the public as detectives investigate. Washington Boulevard is also closed between Lake and El Molino avenues.
