TORRANCE, Calif. (KABC) -- Torrance Elementary School was evacuated Tuesday morning due to a possible bomb threat, according to authorities.
Torrance police said they were investigating the threat with the help of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's explosives trained K-9 unit.
Students and staff were evacuated to the athletic field as a precaution, officials stated.
At 12:20 p.m., police announced that the campus had been deemed safe and secure, and students returned to regular activities.
