WEST COVINA, Calif. (KABC) -- Police were searching Sunday for two armed men who broke into a West Covina home and held a mother and her daughter at gunpoint before making off with valuables.

The incident happened around 10 a.m. Sunday. The daughter, in her late-50s, was hit in the back of her head. Her mother, in her 80s, was not injured.

The suspects stole a safe containing cash and jewelry and a television.
