Yucaipa crash sends 7 people, including 4 children, to hospital

YUCAIPA, Calif. (KABC) -- Seven people, including four children, were hospitalized following a car crash in Yucaipa.

The crash happened around 9 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of 10th Street & Yucaipa Boulevard, fire officials said.

Witnesses told investigators a car turned in front of a Dodge pickup truck instead of yielding, sheriff's officials said.

Rescue crews were called in to pull the victims from the wreckage.

All seven people received medical treatment. Two people had immediate injuries, while five had minor injuries. Their conditions were not immediately known.
