Shower of petals to rain on downtown LA

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Members of a local art collective will be creating an outdoor petal shower starting at dawn, and it will continue through dusk in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday.

Petal Drop L.A. will be located in the 500 block of Broadway at the alley between the Arcade Theatre and the Cameo Theatre.

The dazzling display will consist of 7,000 cups of flower petals that will reportedly be used to create the raining exhibit. It will also include slips of paper on which visitors can leave their memories of L.A.
