"Kitten-garten" in Pasadena will save 1,000 kittens every year

PASADENA, Calif. (KABC) -- "Kitten-garten" is a round-the-clock nursery for kittens transported from L.A. County's Baldwin Park Animal Care Center.

It's part of a joint effort to rescue the felines that otherwise might not make it past their first day at an animal shelter.

They also need volunteers to come play with the kittens. You just have to be at least 15 years old.
