PICO-UNION, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Four people were arrested in Los Angeles's Pico-Union area following a wild chase across four local freeways.
California Highway Patrol received report of a possible stolen vehicle around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, which sparked the pursuit.
During the chase, the suspect vehicle traveled on the 710, 10, 101 and 110 freeways.
The pursuit ended in the Pico-Union area just off the 110 Freeway near Olympic Boulevard and Blaine Street when the driver in the black Dodge Charger drove the car onto the roof of a parking structure.
That's when the suspects bailed out of the car on foot. Three of them were initially arrested without incident.
According to LAPD, the fourth suspect, who was driving the Charger, allegedly broke into an apartment on Albany Street and fell from a second-floor window trying to escape police. His injuries are not clear.
Police say they deployed beanbag shots to subdue the suspect. He was placed onto a stretcher and put into an ambulance.
Investigators say the license plate on the Charger was covered by a paper plate, which is what tipped off officers in the first place.
Officers did not find any weapons belonging to the suspects.
Police initially said they were looking for a fifth suspect, but they called off the search.
