Pet goats reunited with owner after being torn apart by Sand Fire
Christina Pease was ecstatic to hear that she would be reunited with her pet pygmy goats that she thought she lost during the Sand Fire.

CANYON COUNTRY, Calif. (KABC) -- A woman who thought she lost her pet pygmy goats during the Sand Fire was ecstatic to learn they were alive.

Christina Pease narrowly escaped the blaze with her life, and was devastated that she had to leave behind her precious farm animals.

Her horse did not survive, and she thought she lost her three goats, but an unidentified Good Samaritan managed to rescue the animals from the flames.

Several days after the devastating loses, Pease received news from a friend that her animals were being safely held at the Castaic Animal Care Center.

Although she lost so much during the fire, Pease said that the reunion with her goats will help her move on and rebuild.
