1 killed, 2 critically injured in violent Fairfax District crash

FAIRFAX DISTRICT, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- One person was killed and two others critically injured in a violent crash in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles early Wednesday, police said.

The collision occurred near N. Formosa Avenue and Beverly Boulevard at about 2:30 a.m.

Two people were transported to a local hospital in critical condition and a third person was pronounced dead at the scene.

No further details were immediately released.

Beverly Boulevard was closed from N. Fairfax to N. Formosa avenues during the investigation.
