Brewers fan loses job after saying 'call ICE' on Dodgers fan during playoff game

MILWAUKEE (KABC) -- A Brewers fan lost her job after video showed her threatening to call ICE on a Latino Dodgers fan during Game 2 of the NLCS.

Footage of the encounter has gone viral on social media. The incident began when Dodgers fan Ricardo Fosado was trash talking Brewers fans at American Family Field during Tuesday's game.

"Why is everybody quiet?" Fosado is heard telling Milwaukee fans as the Dodgers were leading the Brewers.

The situation escalated when a woman near Fosado responded to his remarks by saying, "You know what, let's call ICE."

"Call ICE, call ICE. I'm a U.S. citizen, war veteran, baby girl ... ICE is not going to do anything to me," Fosado answers back.

The woman then appeared to take a swipe at Fosado's phone.

The woman involved in the video was identified as Shannon Kobylarczyk, who worked at a Milwaukee-based staffing company called Manpower Group.

The company released a statement announcing she was "no longer with the organization."

"As soon as we became aware of this video the individual was placed on immediate leave and we began an investigation," the statement said. "As a result of this process, the employee is no longer with the organization. We remain committed to maintaining a culture grounded in respect, integrity, and accountability."

Kobylarczyk also resigned from the board of Make-a-Wish Wisconsin.

Fosado said he doesn't think she should have been fired.

"I don't think she should have got fired. It's my opinion," Fosado told WDJT-TV in Milwaukee. "I think everybody deserves second chances. I think everybody makes mistakes. Nobody got hurt besides the feelings and egos. I mean, we all live another day."

In the end, both the woman and the Dodgers fan were banned from the ballpark for future events.
