Funeral service revealed for Latin singer killed in Northridge

NORTHRIDGE, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Funeral arrangements have been revealed for 22-year-old Maria De La Rosa, an aspiring Latin singer who was fatally shot in an ambush-style attack in Northridge earlier this month.

Her service is scheduled for noon Tuesday at the San Fernando Mission Cemetery in Mission Hills. It will be open to the public.

Three men have been charged with murder in connection with the shooting of 22-year-old Maria De La Rosa, an aspiring Latin singer.

De La Rosa, known professionally as DELAROSA, was killed in a shooting near Bryant Street and Tampa Avenue. She was in the passenger seat of a parked car with friends when investigators say the suspects walked up to the car, demanded money and started shooting.

De La Rosa was taken to a hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.

Three men have been charged in connection with her death.
