
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (KABC) -- Police in Rancho Cucamonga responded to reports of an active shooter at the Terra Vista movie theater on Sunday, but it turned out to be a hoax.
Rancho Cucamonga police said deputies responded to reports of an active shooter, but through investigation, determined the threat was unfounded.
The department said it appears to be a prank from a group of juveniles, and police confirmed there is no threat to the community.
It's unclear if anyone was taken into custody or if anyone will face charges.
