
SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles police are searching for a motorcyclist who killed a person on a bicycle in a hit-and-run crash.
The deadly incident happened around 7 p.m Wednesday on Vernon Avenue near Avalon Boulevard in South L.A., according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Investigators say the motorcycle rider slammed into a bicyclist and then took off.
The victim, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police spent the night looking through surveillance video and talking to witnesses in the hopes of tracking down the rider responsible.
