Big rig blows tire on northbound 405 Freeway, snarls traffic along Sepulveda Pass

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Traffic has slowed to a crawl at the Sepulveda Pass after a big rig blew a tire and went across all northbound lanes into an embankment.

The big rig reportedly hit a Cadillac in the process.

AIR7 video from shortly after 3 p.m. shows a lengthy traffic backup on the freeway near Mulholland Drive, where it appeared crews had a couple northbound lanes blocked.
