LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- One little boy was so excited about his baptism he decided to baptize himself.
On Sunday, 6-year-old Jordan Warrick was in the West End Baptist Church pool in Louisville, Kentucky, waiting for his moment to be baptized. His entire family was watching, along with the congregation.
His father, Terence Warrick, decided to record the special moment in his son's life.
In the video, the pastor starts off by saying, "(Jordan) will demonstrate his faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ by willingly being baptized this morning. He's been waiting on this day a long time."
However, Jordan was tired of waiting.
Just as the pastor began his final words before Jordan's official baptism, the child jubilantly declares, "I'll do it," and submerges his head into the water.
Jordan emerged from the water triumphantly with his arms raised.
The entire congregation, including the pastor, broke out in laughter.
Jordan's father posted the video on Facebook, but had no idea the clip had gone viral.
"I just posted it because it was special to me and my family," Terence Warrick said.
Someone else posted Terence Warrick's video on their Facebook page and in just over 24 hours the clip was shared nearly 200,000 times.
