SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KABC) -- A 13-year-old girl was killed in a crash in San Bernardino. Two men were arrested, and police believe alcohol was a factor.

According to police, the accident happened around 9 p.m. Friday at the corner of Rialto and Arrowhead avenues.

Police said a green Kia ran a red light and then slammed into a silver Acura, killing Samantha Tarabay. The other people in the Acura were rushed to the hospital with major injuries. The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, police said.

Suspects Martin Mosby and David Brass were in the Kia and immediately fled the scene, police said. With the help of a witness, both were arrested shortly after.

Mosby, 23, of San Bernardino, was arrested for vehicular manslaughter and hit and run. Brass, 24, also of San Bernardino, was arrested for being an accessory.
