Man shot to death in Hawaiian Gardens, homicide detectives investigating

HAWAIIAN GARDENS, Calif. (KABC) -- Homicide detectives are investigating after a man was shot to death in Hawaiian Gardens on Wednesday.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said the shooting happened in the 12000 block of 214th Street at about 12:15 p.m.

Deputies said when they arrived they found a Hispanic man who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials said witnesses reported seeing a black male and a Hispanic male running into the nearby riverbed.
