ABC7 anchor Phillip Palmer runs from Huntington Beach to San Diego

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- ABC7 anchor Phillip Palmer and a team of living kidney donors ran from Huntington Beach to San Diego.

Palmer and his team are trying to raise awareness for organ donations as part of National Organ Donation Month. The nearly 200-mile course is part of the "Ragnar Relay SoCal," which tests the endurance of runners.

Each member of the team runs about three times, with each leg of the course ranging anywhere from three to eight miles. The teams are in two vans to rest between intervals.
