SOUTH GATE, Calif. (KABC) -- A second-alarm fire tore through a commercial building in South Gate Friday night, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Firefighters responded to the blaze at the one-story structure in the 9500 block of California Avenue, fire officials said.
Large flames were seen shooting from inside the building, causing the roof to collapse.
Firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to other buildings in the area. The massive blaze was seen doused around 10:30 p.m.
