Man shot, killed in South Los Angeles

SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles County sheriff's officials are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting of a man in South Los Angeles.

The incident happened around 8:12 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Budlong Avenue and Century Boulevard. Authorities say the victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No other details were immediately released.
