Southern California will see cool temperatures and light rain during the weekend.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Southern California will see cool temperatures and light rain during the weekend.

A weak front is expected to pass through the region and could contribute to some light drizzle or rain overnight, according to the National Weather Service.

Los Angeles and Orange counties on Saturday will see morning clouds and afternoon sunshine, with a high of 67 and a low of 52. A 20% chance of rain is expected on Sunday.

The valleys and Inland Empire on Saturday could see some drizzle amid partly sunny conditions. The high will reach 68, dropping to 48 overnight. On Sunday, there is a 20% chance of rain.

Beaches on Saturday will see morning drizzle and sun. Expect a high of 62 and a low of 49. Temperatures should remain in the low 60s through the weekend.

Mountains on Saturday will see sunny and mild conditions, reaching a high of 53 and a low of 26 overnight.

Deserts on Saturday can expect a high of 68 and a low of 41. The high in Palm Springs will be in the lower 80s.
