Jerry West among scoring leaders who played for one NBA team

Not many players manage to play their entire professional career for one franchise.

Jerry West did just that.

West, whopassed away at the age of 86, played his entire 14-year NBA career for the Los Angeles Lakers. The Hall of Famer earned an All-Star selection every season he was in the league en route to racking up 25,192 career points in a Lakers uniform.

The only player who scored more points while wearing the purple and gold is Kobe Bryant (33,643).
