LYNWOOD, Calif. (KABC) -- An unusual, cheesy traffic incident caused delays on the 105 Freeway in Lynwood on Tuesday.
A truck carrying pallets of cheese balls spilled out over the freeway.
About 120 containers of the snacks spilled just west of the Long Beach Boulevard onramp shortly after 5 p.m.
Citizen App video shows the big cheese ball mess on the westbound lanes of the freeway.
Adding to the chaos, California Highway Patrol said there were reports of drivers stopping their cars to grab tubs that hadn't broken open.
Crews eventually got the area cleaned up, and all mainlanes reopened to traffic.
