LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The 70-milimeter version of Quentin Tarantino's latest movie, "The Hateful Eight," is about three hours long, but you get a break for a short intermission.
Many of the movie's stars have worked with Tarantino before, and it seems they'd all work with him again.
Bruce Dern is among the ensemble cast of the movie, which is Tarantino's 8th feature film. This one takes place in post-Civil War Wyoming and features bounty hunters, a blizzard and betrayal.
The movie marks the 6th time Samuel L. Jackson has worked with the iconic director, a man he says loves making entertaining movies.
"He's also doing movies that are about people who are talking to each other, who are talking about things and experiencing things," he said. "It's not about things blowing up. It's not about the big monster, and it's not about the big spaceship. It's just about people."
The movie also features Kurt Russell, Michael Madsen, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Channing Tatum, Tim Roth and a slew of other well-known actors.
"The Hateful Eight" is rated "R" for strong, bloody violence, a scene of violent sexual content, language and some graphic nudity. It opens Friday.
