Not 1, but 2! Second alligator spotted in nearby neighborhoods in Florida

VENICE, Fla. (KABC) -- This time of year, people in Florida are dealing with heat, humidity and alligators.

Last week, a deputy captured video while trying to follow an alligator through a neighborhood south of Tampa.

Two days later, another alligator was spotted in a nearby neighborhood.

It is mating season for the native alligators, which may explain all the sights, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission.
