Union Station evacuated because of suspicious package

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A suspicious package forced the evacuation of Union Station in downtown Los Angeles Sunday night.

Police say the item under investigation was a box. Initially, it was reported that wires were inside, but police say they found only clothing and envelopes.
